Britt and her Flute

Brittany loves playing any instrument and this year she is playing the flute. Her band teacher is HORRID and doesn't do very well and we are looking forward to getting her into Mapleton Jr. High this next year so she can have a better opportunity to learn and play it better. Her concert this last year was pretty interesting. There were only 2 other girls playing flute and so it was very difficult to hear the flutes. :( We were fairly disappointed with the program in general but we were able to hear a solo flute part and Britt was awesome!! Too bad all the other instruments were there! haha Poor Britt... Anywho, here are some photos of our gorgeous flute player!

Cory's Christmas program

Cory's program was BEAUTIFUL!! He LOVES his chorus teacher this year!! She is amazing and does an amazing job!! Everything was so beautiful and FUN!! It was really tough to get good pictures though! We ended up further back in the auditorium than I wanted to be and they kept the lighting fairly low so there are only a few pics and most are blurry!

Matt also got some video! The first song is one that I just sit and cry when I hear it! It is about a boy who is very poor and trying to buy some shoes for his mother who is very sick and going to die soon. But he really wants her to have some new shoes to be buried in. Sad but VERY BEAUTIFUL!



This video is about Christmas dinner and is HILLARIOUS! The kids LOVED it so they sang it EXTRA loud but it's still funny!

Tyson's Christmas Program

I know I am a HUGE slacker.. but better late than never... Right??? These are some pics (and video if I can get it to work) of Tyson's Christmas program. It was sooo adorable!! The 3rd grade teachers did an AMAZING job getting it all together. The program itself was about Santa and his toys and all the places in the world that they were being sent to. (The 3rd grader's are learning about world history this year.) Tyson was a super cute (although very nervous) toy soldier. Hehe Enjoy!

Christmas Pictures (LATE!) haha

Here are some pictures of the kids sitting on Santa's lap at Matt's work party! Britt and Cory thought they were too old but got to sit on his lap anyway. (Since Santa had EVERYONE, including the adults, sit on his lap they couldn't get out of it. haha) I am not posting the pics of Matt and I though, because once again I look like the walking dead with my super white face!

Been a While!!

Sorry! I know I haven't gotten anything on here in a while... I have been trying to get videos from our camcorder onto this site but I can't get them to download onto my computer to get them on here... GRRRRR! So someday (hopefully soon) I will get that done and you can see some Christmas videos of our silly kids! We took more video this year than pictures so I don't really have many pics of Christmas. Right now we all have an obsession with Guitar Hero. When the kids are home we sit and play for hours it has been TONS of fun!! I have been trying to talk Matt into getting the drums and microphone for World Tour but with an upcoming trip to Disneyland... hehe Anywho, I will try and get some pics up of what I have started calling the Guitar Hero Zombie stare on here! hehe
